a remote place of quiet tranquility and almost surreal
natural beauty, where the slopes of Ben Cruachan fall into
the clear waters of Loch Awe, there is a small, luxurious
and wildly romantic old country house hotel....It's
Ardanaiseig.Romantic
Restaurant of the Year (2010), Intimate Wedding Hotel of the
Year (2010), Chef Medaille D'Or (2010), Gold Medal for
Housekeeping (2010).
Bridge of Orchy Hotel is one of the main hotels between
Crianlarich and Glencoe on the A82 in the unmistakably
Scottish highlands area of serene and beautiful mid Argyll.
Unmissable in a prominent roadside location close to the
West Highland Way, a walkers’ paradise. Amidst spectacular
scenery, overlooked by the great Beinn Dorain, close to
Glencoe.
The hotel is sited
in the village of Dalmally in Strathorchy. It has
spectacular mountain views all round and three acres of
beautiful landscaped gardens. The famous salmon river
“Orchy” flows down the Strath and the favourite morning walk
is past the ancient medieval church down to the 300 year old
“Wade” Bridge to watch for salmon, trout and otter.
We believe that
coming to Inveroran is a very special experience for
everyone. We have done our best to retain the atmosphere of
the 19th century inn throughout the modern hotel. We have
eight bedrooms, and can sleep a maximum of 16 people. All
rooms have tea & coffee making facilities, television and
hairdryers.
