Worship - The Reason for these Buildings
The church buildings may be interesting for their history and beauty - but it is
their purpose which matters most. The old Catechism says that our main purpose in life
should be to glorify God. Accordingly, these buildings are only fully
functional when people are meeting together for worship and prayer or when an individual
bows their head and turns their mind to God. A visitor to any one of our churches is asked
to remember this and offer a prayer for themselves and all the people of the Parish which
that church serves.
