Definitive Hole By Hole Guide
Hole 1
Glenorchy is a straight forward 166 yards, par 3 with 2 bunkers at the green and a small burn at back.
Hole 2
Alt Na Creaich is a right hand dogleg measuring 360 yards. This hole requires a positioned Tee shot as there are two strategically placed bunkers on the fairway and mature trees to the right of the fairway very close to a burn which marks an out of bounds. A medium iron to the green depending on your tee shot to a guarded green with 2 bunkers.
Hole 3
Orchy Splash is a par 3 measuring 160 yards. This hole is across the corner of the picturesque river Orchy and has a backdrop of Ben Cruachan. This is one of the most picturesque and demanding holes on all of the Argyll courses.

Hole 4
Cruachan is a short dogleg par 4, measuring 294 yards but is very demanding as there are mature trees and rough to the right of this hole which draws the tee shot like a magnet. A very narrow entry into the green with another fine view of the river Orchy and surrounding mountains.
Hole 5
Strae Hole This is a short par 3 measuring 135 yards with a water hazard to the front and a large bunker at the rear although this hole is short, many a good golfer has come to grief here.
Hole 6
Kilchurn is the simplest hole on the course with a delightful lily pond at the left of the hole. It is a straight tee shot with a short iron to a green guarded by 3 bunkers. This hole measures 254 yards

Hole 7
Lily Pond A short par 3 measuring 147 yards, looks a very simple hole but there are two difficult bunkers at the hole that are extremely well placed to protect this green..
Hole 8
Kinachrechine This is a a par 4 right hand dogleg, probably this hole is one of the most difficult on the course. It requires a very accurate tee shot as there is a burn at a very reachable distance from the tee and an out of bounds and mature trees to your right. After you've made your tee shot choice, it can be a longish or short iron to the green. Surrounded by mature trees, it is a difficult choice of club selections at this hole.
Hole 9
Ben Lui This is the longest hole on the course measuring 402 yards. Mostly straightforward hole with a bunker on the fairway and an out of bounds to the right and a magnificent view of Ben Lui in front of you. A long iron to a two tier green guarded by 3 bunkers makes this a challenging finishing hole.

Hole 19 is a small clubhouse built by the members.
